Comfortable but purely functional. Good breakfast. Very small "fitness center". Check-in took inordinately long. We were literally at the counter 20 minutes trying to check in, while the lady fought with her computer, forgot things, had to redo things or ask other colleagues for help. Also, an additional 5 minutes was spent with her in a near slapstick farcical exchange about the room cleaning policy. Was it on request only, or automatically done? - "If you want your room cleaned, don't leave the "Do not disturb" sign on the door, and let us know." - "Let you know what?" - "If you want your room cleaned." - "If I don't let you know, it won't be cleaned?" - "We always clean the rooms for guests who want that. Just leave the DND sign off the door.". - "So, if I leave the DND off the room will be cleaned automatically? I.e. like in every other hotel in the world?" - "You can let us know also." - "I can, or I have to?". -"You can." - "OK so the room will be made up as long as the DND sign is NOT on the door, right?". -"Yes, make sure the DND sign is not on the door." - "OK, understand that, that's how it works in all hotels. But do I still need to let you know at the desk?". - "You can."

Great hotel in Northampton! Came for a couple of college visits. Close to Smith and a short drive to the other 4 colleges. Rooms were clean, and everyone at the desk were always helpful. Breakfast was fine...nothing fancy but did the job. Waffles, yogurt, oatmeal, frsh fruit, and eggs. Love that coffee and tea are available 24/7. Will definitely stay here if one of our kids attend college in the vicinity.

I’m from New Jersey I’m a contractor for my experience and from all the Hotels I been staying this was my best experience Clean and reliable I stay there for 3 Days, I leave all my things in the room and everything still there. The housekeeping fix my bed, clean the room and all my things still in there. A good place to stay and trust, 5 starts. Clean, Reliable and and good price to stay.

The cleaning staff tried to steal from us. We had cash inside a card, underneath other items, sitting on the desk. And when we walked into our room there was a cleaning woman standing there with the cash in her hands. Absolutely despicable behavior. I would never stay here again or recommend it to anyone else.

Hotel very clean, my only complaint is not sure why housekeeping knocked at 8:45am on check out day if we havent check out yet. Other then that everything was good

Checked in later after booking a month in advance. They gave our room away and it was a big issue when we arrived especially when we payed $650 to stay for 2 nights. Manager was rude when we complained about the issue/mistake THEY made… and obviously doesn’t give priority to higher status Marriott members either. It’s almost as if you get lower priority, especially if you’re young and they can’t imagine that you have enough money and free time to spend a week night at a hotel. I prefer staying with Hilton and this makes total sense why.. unfortunate that this is one of the only hotels in Northampton really makes you understand supply vs demand.. For $300 a night probably biggest rip off of a hotel imaginable. Rooms were also dirty. Could go on but why bother. No refund either for the first night when they gave our room away. Ridiculous. Going to bring the conversation to stupid Marriott helpline. Pictures online incorrect.

Well-designed rooms in good condition, friendly staff, abundant working free L2 EV charging. As with every other hotel, I found the A/C a bit blowy when I left it in at night, but it can be turned off on nights when the humidity isn't worse.

We stayed here for a wedding 15 minutes away. It was very convenient to get there and near downtown. We had a nice room with 2 double beds. They had a good breakfast. The pool was warm.
